Catalog description

This course addresses the fundamentals of literacy, including early literacy and essential components of readings. We also discuss evidence-based reading strategies, tiered intervention, data-based decision, and progress monitoring for students who have reading difficulties. A 25-hour field experience with P-12 students is required in the course. Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 2 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
