Catalog description

This course is designed to prepare special educators who are knowledgeable and competent in preparing Individualized Education Plans and lesson plans for individuals with disabilities. Learning environments and assessment data will be analyzed in order to develop high quality instructional plans that include specialized strategies based on collaboration among stakeholders and improving communication for individuals with disabilities. A 25-hour field experience with P-12 students is required for the course. Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 2 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
