Catalog description

This course focuses on family and community engagement to meet the needs of exceptional children. Content will be from a variety of literatures in education with focuses on early literacy, family involvement, access to books and expanded learning, as well as mentoring partnerships. A 25-hour field experience with P-12 students is required in the course. Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 2 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
