Catalog description
Provides the opportunity to apply the theory and methodology learned in SPAN 4700 . Emphasis is placed on interpretation of material taken from journals, newspapers, digital media, government publications, pre-recorded audio and video speeches and dialogues, and live presentations. The course focuses on specialized material from the fields of business, law, medicine, agriculture, environmental issues, and entertainment. Students practice Spanish to English and English to Spanish interpretation. Prerequisite(s): SPAN 4700 >=C Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 3 Other Hours: 3 Contact Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
