A course designed for students seeking to acquire or expand their knowledge of medical terminology in Spanish and the language used in everyday professional health-related situations. Cultural aspects are addressed to enhance students’ awareness of Hispanic diversity and cultural perspectives in order to improve effective communication in Spanish between medical professionals and patients.
