Catalog description

Sociological analysis of historical and contemporary social movements nationally and internationally. Special attention is given to the critical analysis of social movement theory and its application to understanding the diversity of social movements. Emphasis is placed on the etiology of social movements, their causes, consequences, and social implications. Prerequisite(s): SOSC 3001 >= C or SOSC 3002 >= C or SOSC 3003 >= C Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
