EDUC 2120 EDUC 2120 This course focuses on the relationship between education and society in the United States, including public and private education in America. Particular emphsis will be placed on application of sociological theories and insights to the advancement of the goal of increased effectiveness of schools, teachers and students. Prerequisite(s): ( SOCI 1101 >= C or SOCI 1101H >= C or SOCI 1103 >= C or PSYC 1103 >= C) and SOCI 1160 >= C and EDUC 2110 >= C and EDUC 2120 >= C Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
