Catalog description
In conjunction with Clinical Practicum III, Level Two graduate students attend a 50-minute weekly class meeting to guide self-reflection of their supervised clinical training. Self-reflection focuses on self-evaluation as a novice clinician, including evaluation of student therapist-patient communication, plan of care, complete diagnostic assessment and therapeutic intervention tasks, student’s ability to plan for the next session, written documentation, time management, and to ensure CALIPSO platform is implemented correctly. Students identify strengths and areas to improve each week based on their knowledge and skills goals for the semester. This weekly class meeting also serves as a supplemental student advising session. Corequisite(s): SLPP 6401 and SLPP 6402 and SLPP 6403 and SLPP 6404 and SLPP 6405 Lecture Hours: 1 Contact Hours: 1 Repeatability: May be repeated for credit up to 2 times.
