Catalog description

This course covers acquired cognitive, communication, and language disorders as a result of neurological injury or illness in the adult population. Content focuses on etiology, characteristics, assessment, and intervention in the areas of aphasia, traumatic brain injury, right hemisphere disorder, and dementia. Corequisite(s): SLPP 5201 and SLPP 5202 and SLPP 5204 and SLPP 5205 and SLPP 5206 Lecture Hours: 3 Contact Hours: 3 Repeatability: May be repeated for credit up to 2 times.
