This course provides an in-depth examination of the legal frameworks, ethical principles, and policy challenges that shape cybersecurity governance in the public and private sectors. Students will explore the intersection of law, technology, and ethics in the context of digital security, privacy, surveillance, and cybercrime. Special attention is given to the national security implications of cybersecurity policy, including the legal authorities and ethical boundaries that guide U.S. defense, intelligence, and homeland security operations in cyberspace.
