Emerging Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Intelligence Analysis

This graduate-level course explores the intersection of emerging technologies—particularly artificial intelligence—and the evolving mission of the U.S. Intelligence Community (USIC). Students will critically examine how AI and related innovations are transforming intelligence collection, analysis, and decision-making. The course delves into the strategic, operational, ethical, and policy dimensions of technological integration within the IC, while also addressing the challenges posed by adversarial use of these technologies. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of how the IC is adapting to a rapidly shifting technological landscape and what this means for the future of national security.
