Hybrid Warfare

Catalog description

This 3-hour course introduces students to the topic of hybrid warfare. The course will focus on multiple aspects of hybrid warfare. The first part of the course will focus on defining and conceptualizing hybrid warfare. The second part of the course will focus on offensive and defensive cyber operations. The third part of the course will focus on offensive and defensive kinetic operations. The fourth part of the course will examine real-world and theoretical examples of hybrid warfare. The last part of the course will focus on the security implications of hybrid warfare and how to provide appropriate defenses given the nature of hybrid warfare. Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
