Catalog description

The course includes a didactic part and supervised clinical and laboratory sessions on the philosophy and techniques in the fabrication of complete dentures. Material includes oral examinations, preliminary and final impressions, maxillo-mandibular records, denture tooth selection, factors and philosophies of denture occlusion, setting teeth in a balanced lingualized occlusion, verifying maxillo-mandibular records, denture processing, correction of processing errors, completion and insertion of complete dentures. Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 3 Other Hours: 2 Repeatability: May be repeated for credit up to two times.
