Catalog description

The knowledge of medical terminology is fundamental for health professionals. This course is offered as part of the core curriculum so that it may be used as a tool in other advanced coursework. The degree of competency required will be related to the main objectives of the course: spelling, use of correct word forms in context (English as well as medical terms), and using resource materials with ease when unfamiliar terms are encountered. Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
