Catalog description
In this course, students will develop a new vision for health professional leadership in the face of increasing organizational change and complexity. Students will gain an appreciation of working collaboratively with people from multiple professions/disciplines to optimize health for individuals and populations. Core competencies in interprofessional collaborative practice will be explored as students learn about each other to improve collaboration and healthcare quality. They will learn to use their leadership qualities to inspire personal growth and contribute to a climate of shared values, ethical conduct, and mutual respect. Lecture Hours: 1 Repeatability: May be repeated for credit up to two times.
