Catalog description

Introduction to research designs. Students become familiar with multiple research designs used to answer clinical questions pertinent to physical therapy practice. Students also learn the ethics of conducting research and how to gain informed consent. By the end of the course, students will have the requisite tools to develop a research design to answer a clinical question. Lecture Hours: 1 Repeatability: May be repeated for credit up to two times.
