Catalog description

In this elective, students will be given an opportunity to explore the psychological impact of HIV/AIDS by participating as part of MCG’s HIV/AIDS Mental Health Treatment Team. Students will participate in the treatment of individuals infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS through assessment, individual and group therapy, and psychological consultation in several HIV/AIDS treatment environments. Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 3 Contact Hours: 30 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
