Seminar in Physiology

Catalog description

This course will expose students to various topics related to physiology and pathophysiology of multiple organ systems including the renal, cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, endocrine, and neural systems. The course consists of a weekly journal club (formal review of a scientific publication) that is related to the weekly scientific seminar held in the Department of Physiology. Students will take this course in both spring and fall semesters; each week will cover a different scientific topic. Lecture Hours: 1 Repeatability: May be repeated for credit one time.
