Catalog description
Integrative study of the cardiovascular system and how drugs and identified molecular mechanisms target cardiovascular disease. Cardiac, vascular and renal physiology will be studied in detail, and also will be integrated into an overall scheme for control of the circulation. The scope will range from fundamental lectures on cardiovascular pharmacology and physiology to the state of the art understanding in respective areas of faculty. Prerequisite(s): PHRM 8042 & PHRM 8043, minimum grade C Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
