Catalog description
All residents must participate in a research project and prepare and submit a manuscript based on their research for publication. In addition, periodic presentations of resident’s progress on their research projects are made in seminar sessions in the periodontics department and at local, regional, national and international conferences. Residents are strongly encouraged to be involved in a research project that leads to the defense of a thesis for either the MS or PhD in Oral Biology. Contact Hours: 2 Repeatability: May be repeated for credit up to two times.
