Catalog description
Students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, providing compassionate and patient-centered care managing pediatric patients with complex medical needs within a collaborative multidisciplinary interprofessional team model. Students work in a collaborative interprofessional multidisciplinary setting with a pediatrician, nurse navigator, dietician, and pharmacist. Students also have assigned time in a transplant clinic and with a speech/feeding therapist. Prerequisite(s): PEDS 5000 >= C Other Hours: 4 to 8 Contact Hours: 4 to 8 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
