Pediatric Rheumatology (4 to 8 Credit Hours)

Catalog description
This rotation is designed to provide concentrated exposure to children and adolescents with autoimmune and inflammatory diseases and become familiar with commonly encountered pediatric rheumatologic conditions. The majority of this elective will occur in the outpatient setting and students will also have time for directed reading to further explore the pathophysiology of the diseases encountered. Lecture Hours: 1 Lab Hours: 8 Contact Hours: 20 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
