Pediatric Pulmonology Externship (4 to 8 Credit Hours)

Catalog description

A four-week rotation in pediatric pulmonology will include both inpatient consultation and outpatient management regarding patients with cystic fibrosis, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, asthma, recurrent pneumonias and other common and uncommon respiratory disorders. Didactic sessions are conducted weekly with a reading list provided at the beginning of the course. Lecture Hours: 24 Contact Hours: 16 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
