Understand all aspects of managing patient behavior to provide appropriate care, including for those with developmental, intellectual, medical, or craniofacial differences. Become proficient in behavior management techniques such as communicative methods, oral sedation, and general anesthesia. Understand the risks and benefits of each technique, along with the legal and ethical considerations. Provide care to patients with developmental, medical, intellectual, and craniofacial differences by utilizing comprehensive behavior guidance strategies. Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 1 Repeatability: May be repeated for credit up to 2 times.
