Catalog description
Selection and application of the appropriate assessments and interventions of the occupational therapy process with the 0-21 client population. Emphasis is placed on analyzing atypical development, acquisition of the occupational therapy roles and pediatric approaches. Use of client and family centered care is implemented in a variety of settings and reimbursement models. Collaboration and advocacy within interdisciplinary teams are included. Prerequisite: Successful completion of 3rd semester MHS coursework or permission of chair. Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 2 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
