Catalog description
Promotion of occupational performance using a variety of adult models of practice. Special emphasis is placed on prevention, health promotion and wellness concepts; sports/leisure related services; low vision; vestibular rehabilitation; driver rehabilitation and cognitive care. Special emphasis is placed on older adult health trends. Various reimbursement systems and settings are examined including the community, private contracting, skilled nursing facilities and home health. Prerequisite: Successful completion of 3rd semester MHS coursework and/or permission of the chair. Prerequisite(s): OTHP 6002 >= C and OTHP 6203 >= C and OTHP 6320 >= C and OTHP 6510 >= C and OTHP 6606 >= C Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 2 Repeatability: May be repeated for credit one time.
