Adult Evaluation and Intervention II

Catalog description

Promotion of occupational performance using a variety of adult models of practice. Special emphasis is placed on prevention, health promotion and wellness concepts; sports/leisure related services; low vision; vestibular rehabilitation; driver rehabilitation and cognitive care. Special emphasis is placed on older adult health trends. Various reimbursement systems and settings are examined including the community, private contracting, skilled nursing facilities and home health. Prerequisite: Successful completion of 3rd semester MHS coursework and/or permission of the chair.
