Catalog description
This course provides the orthodontic residents the knowledge to understand the biologic responses to orthodontic forces in the treatment of patients of all ages with a variety of contemporary orthodontic techniques or philosophy. This course includes a rotation with the AU craniofacial anomalies team in which they examine and evaluate patients with cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial anomalies, discuss treatment options, and render patient care where appropriate. Lecture Hours: 7 Lab Hours: 17 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
