Maternal Fetal Medicine Externship (4 to 8 Credit Hours)

This is a clinically oriented block of time during which The student will participate in the antepartum, delivery, and postpartum care of high risk obstetric patients. Responsibilities are those of a sub-intern working closely with the OB house-staff. The student will also present cases at the clinical conferences dealing with high risk pregnancies, and be responsible for assigned reading material. Contact Hours: 40 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
