Catalog description
In this course, students explore the full scope of responsibility inherent in the APRN role. Resumes and components of oral and written communication are developed. Professional portfolios are created and evaluated for integration of advanced practice exemplars. Exemplars include advanced nursing knowledge, assessment skills, diagnosis, interventions, and evaluation of healthcare outcomes in patients, families and communities. In preparation for certification exams, a full review of population focus material is provided with practice board exams. Lecture Hours: 2 Contact Hours: 2 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
