Catalog description

This course provides students with a strong foundation in the concepts of strategic management enabling them to implement the process in a wide variety of leadership positions in health care organizations and systems. This course focuses upon the visioning and modeling of services and programs, both anticipatory and responsive, utilizing market-driven information. Students integrate theories from economics, information management, finance and leadership, culminating in the generation of a comprehensive business plan. Lecture Hours: 2 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
