Catalog description

This course provides opportunities to apply the knowledge and skills gained in NURS 7348 in clinical practice. Students assess individuals and diagnose mental and substance use disorders across the lifespan. Students select, implement and evaluate evidence-based educational and psychotherapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults with selected disorders. Students participate in individual and peer supervision sessions. Lab Hours: 1 Contact Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
