This course provides the student with clinical experiences within the scope of the family nurse practitioner centered on health promotion, health maintenance, disease prevention, and the management of common acute and chronic health problems of adults in primary health care settings. Emphasis is on the family as the basic unit of nursing care. Lab Hours: 1 Contact Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
