This course involves the systematic exploration of the scientific underpinnings of advanced nursing practice. Students will examine recent evidence based on the scientific knowledge needed for advanced practice in an area of clinical concentration or phenomenon of interest. Empirical evidence will be searched to answer current and cutting edge questions that are at the core of the discipline of nursing. Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
