This course explores fundamental principles of chemistry, physics, and cellular physiology as they relate to nurse anesthesia practice. Topics include gas laws, fluid dynamics, and principles of measurement and safety in the operating room. Emphasis is placed on applying these concepts to anesthesia equipment function, drug behavior, and patient physiology. Lecture Hours: 3 Contact Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
