This second level acute care nurse practitioner course focuses on the scientific basis of interventions for complex, acutely ill individuals. The clinical practicum provides opportunities to: participate in collaborative practice on a multi-disciplinary healthcare team; determine appropriate interventions; utilize expanded practice skills; and evaluate outcomes for the acutely ill. Prerequisite(s): NURS 7390 and NURS 7430 and NURS 7471 and NURS 7710 Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 1 Contact Hours: 2 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
