Catalog description

This course will build on previous course knowledge and will provide a theoretical foundation for health promotion, illness prevention, and maintenance of women throughout the lifespan (pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and interconceptional periods). This course will also build on previous course knowledge and provide a theoretical foundation in health promotion, illness prevention, and maintenance of children and family function in health and illness. During the clinical segment, the student will be responsible for the clinical management of comprehensive client care along the continuum of care in multiple settings. Prerequisite(s): NURS 6100 >= C and NURS 6200 >= C and NURS 6700 >= C and NURS 7001 >= C Corequisite(s): NURS 7215 Lecture Hours: 3 Contact Hours: 1 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
