Catalog description
This course provides a foundation upon which students can build their professional nursing knowledge and practice. The course will emphasize fundamental nursing skills, age appropriate health assessment techniques, the nursing process, and the introduction to clinical reasoning skills. The course also explores the development of nursing practice and will emphasize the role and responsibilities of the clinical nurse leader in the healthcare delivery system. Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 2 Contact Hours: 1 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
