Catalog description
This course builds on concepts and principles from the basic sciences and presents an orientation to disease as disordered physiology. It is intended to help students understand how and why the symptoms and signs of various conditions appear and will provide basic information on the causes of disease, the body’s response to disease, the treatments for specific diseases and the body’s response to those treatments. Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 1 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
