Clinical Internship

Catalog description

Prerequisite: Admission to program, or permission of instructor. Introduction to fundamentals of department operations, equipment and materials, patient care and management. Student observes clinical application of fundamentals and learns how they are applied by nuclear medicine technologist to patient imaging procedures. Student assists and performs routine procedures under direct supervision of clinical instructor. Contact Hours: 24 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
