Elementary and Middle School Methods

Catalog description

A functional course in the techniques involved in teaching general music to students in the elementary and middle school grades. Techniques addressed will include the Orff approach, Kodaly method, Dalcroze Eurythmics and eclectic design. May be taken for graduate credit and additional coursework will be required. Prerequisite(s): MUSI 1102 >= C and MUSI 1212 >= C Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
