Catalog description

A functional course for the music educator in the techniques involved in playing and teaching snare drum, mallet percussion, timpani and auxiliary instruments. Emphasis on development of fundamental skills through hands-on experience with each of the percussion instruments. May be taken for graduate credit; additional work will be required. Prerequisite(s): MUSI 1102 >= C and MUSI 1212 >= C Lecture Hours: 1 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
