Catalog description
Students will examine the origins and principles of the middle school movement, along with the current structure of middle level schools and programs. Principles of professionalism and professional learning communities will be explored, as well as the core principles of interdisciplinary instruction and teaming. A field experience component is required in a local school setting. Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 2 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
