Clerkship Procedure Elective is an elective offered to MCG Clerkship medical students over a 2 week rotation. The goals of this elective course are 1) To allow students to review and practice key skills to promote safer and higher quality procedures during medical training 2) To give students a deep understanding of the risks, benefits and challenges of common invasive procedures and allow for legitimate peripheral participation 3) To help students better function in the role of patient advocate during invasive procedures. Lecture Hours: 10 Lab Hours: 5 Contact Hours: 5 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
