Catalog description

This course provides an introduction to computational linear algebra. Topics include direct and iterative methods for solving linear systems, error analysis, least squares problems, eigenvalue problems, Newton’s and Quasi-Newton methods for systems of nonlinear equations. Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
