Catalog description
This course helps students become effective public and community health educators by increasing knowledge in both public and community health areas and enhancing individual skills and competencies essential to this career field. The course provides an overview of the organization, role, and structure of community health agencies, with a specific emphasis on health education services. In addition, the course will cover the important role of national and global governance in public health. Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
