Catalog description
Health literacy is an essential part of health services to ensure proper use of services, care, and maintenance of health. Problems with health literacy effect all people and it is important for individuals in healthcare to take an active role in health literacy decisions. This course is designed to examine the assessment and application of health literacy best practices through lectures, discussions, project development, and student presentations. Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
