Catalog description
This course introduces the fundamental principles and practices of effective coaching with an emphasis on an athlete-centered approach. Students will explore the roles and responsibilities of a coach, including planning, organizing, teaching, and conducting practices, while developing the skills needed to create a positive and productive sport environment. The course emphasizes placing athlete development as the top priority, encouraging future coaches to foster growth, performance, and well-being in those they lead.
