Introduction to Health Professions Education

Catalog description

This course provides a general introduction to health sciences education and research. Focus will be on terminology used in education research, including health sciences education, concepts in education science, finding and reading health science education research and an introduction to health science education and social science research methodology. This course also will provide a general overview of the culminating experience which will occur at the conclusion of the HPEC program. Lecture Hours: 1 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
