Catalog description

This course investigates the history of medical practice and understanding of the human body and disease. The topics (including early notions of body and health) will begin from the earliest times and proceed chronologically to the end of the sixteenth century, with concentration on the period from CE 600 to 1600. Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
