Catalog description
This course provides an introduction to African History prior to the early 19th century through a focus on Africa’s major civilizations and global connections. It will begin with early efforts to domesticate crops and wild animals and move forward until changes in Africa’s internal and external dynamics in the eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. Lecture Hours: 3 Contact Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
